I'm Lars, a software hacker from Canada with a big mouth and a small executable (actually I'm 6 feet and two inches tall and am very quiet and reserved in person).

I'm currently involved in a lot of web programming and database work with freepascal, even though I've always hated HTML and web browser based applications compared to real desktop software. I've admitted and faced reality: people are using their web browsers for everything, no matter how much we try and convince customers that TCP/IP solutions or native Win32/X11 thin clients are what they need. Therefore one of my goals is to make web development easier for FPC and Delphi developers.

I participate in open source projects and commercial software development. I run a consulting company that uses exotic tools such as freepascal and delphi, and other more popular tools like PHP, VB, and Ruby.
