Hermes is a graphics library designed to do a very limited number of things and do them very well. Is designed to convert a source buffer with a specified pixel format to a destination buffer with possibly a different format at the maximum possible speed. The long feature list includes things like palette handling and clearing surfaces to a specific color, conversion of images from one format to another and more.
