Hi,

I am a new with "loging systems". I have this very naive question:

On most linux machines, there is a loging system running that is called "syslog" the daemon is called "logd", the log files are usually stored is "/var/log" and it is possible to manually send a message to any one of the files by issuing the console command "logger -p ..." (see "man logger").

Question: Is MULTILOG compatible with that system?
