I think this page needs a little clean-up.

e.g. version 1.0 is finished :-) e.g. the version chart shows 1.0.5 as end of life, but we have already 1.0.8.

Is it ok if I clean this stuff?

Cleanup seems like a good idea.

I would retain the diagram at the bottom though. The (concept of the) diagram at the bottom is very useful though: it clearly shows which branches show from which codebase. Of course, updating the numbers to current versions might be a good idea...
