Historical: incorrect?

Go32v2 is still supported in 2.6.2, so labelling this as a historical article seems a bit unfair ;) Otherwise we could label the OS/2 articles with the same category!??! I'm removing it. --BigChimp 06:08, 19 April 2013 (UTC)

Found out OS/2 also has Historical slapped on it. Of course, the platforms are old but some may still be in use. I wouldn't use that category... (I think I used Category:Obsolete to mark old pages that are no longer relevant, but I wouldn't label OSes historical or not... their users will know well enough by themselves). Anyway - apart from this nitpicking: Johannes: thanks for a great job o getting the wiki more in shape. --BigChimp 06:12, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
We should clarify what we want to express with the term "historical". I thought this category would be appropriate for historical platforms like DOS, OS/2, Mac OS Classic or Palm OS (which wouldn't hinder FPC to support these platforms). If you think that the designation as historical should be reserved to purely historical features of Lazarus and Free Pascal that are unsupported now then it might be better to remove the respective articles from the category.--Jwdietrich 16:05, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
I don't mind either way, as long as we don't mix up the two ;) Your interpretation is fine AFAIC, I just don't really see the point of attaching that category to OS/2 etc. But it's a free wiki ;)--BigChimp 07:34, 20 April 2013 (UTC)
